Don Chema Coffee® was born in the Western Mountains of Ocotepeque, Honduras, in the coffee plantation of José María "Don Chema" Rodríguez and Doña Minta Montufar who grow, harvest, and roast coffee with unmatched passion, resulting in an exceptional cup of coffee.

At Don Chema Coffee®, we believe that great coffee begins with care—starting from the land, to the harvest, and all the way to the roast. Our roots trace back three generations to a small family farm in the western mountains of Honduras, where José María “Don Chema” Rodríguez first began cultivating coffee with heart and hands. Today, we continue that legacy by sourcing Organic and Fair Trade beans, roasted in small batches in the U.S.

Our goal is simple: to bring you exceptional specialty coffee that’s accessible, honest, and full of character—just like Don Chema himself.
